These differ from Symphonia rolls only in the overall width and spool end design—the music format is interchangeable.
The Celestina played paper bands by use of an attachment (or adapter), as described in US Patent 369293.
Although the music for these instruments is considered interchangeable, there is some variation in the speed at which the paper travels. Sample instruments were measured in inches of paper travel per crank revolution1):
